How does this medication work? What will it do for me? Bromazepam belongs to the class of mediations known as benzodiazepines. It is used for the short-term relief of symptoms of excessive anxiety. It works to reduce anxiety by affecting certain substances in the brain called neurotransmitters. This medication may be available under multiple brand names and/or in several different forms. Any specific brand name of this medication may not be available in all of the forms or approved for all of the conditions discussed here. What form(s) does this medication come in? 3 mg Each round, flat, bevelled edged, scored pink tablet, marked "PRO" over "B-3" on one side and plain on the other side contains bromazepam 3 mg. Nonmedicinal ingredients: corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, D & C Red No. 30, D & C Red No. 7, lactose and magnesium stearate.
